Benefits of Internet shopping for a vehicle

If you're in the market for a new or pre-owned vehicle and want to save time, money and even stress, internet shopping may just be the way to go.  

Hi my name is Crystal, I'm the Internet Sales Manager and I've been working here at Courtesy Toyota for a couple of years.  I've been in the Internet Sales Department for a little over a year now.  

So, you're in the market for a vehicle and either don't want to come onto the dealership's lot or just don't have time due to a busy work schedule, like so many people today.  Whatever the case may be, the Internet Dept is open to visitors 24 hours a day 7 days a week, so even when the dealership is closed you can shop.  
  • You can watch full 360 videos of different models like --Camry, Corolla, Tundra, Highlander and so on.  
  • You can see color choices and even what features are offered on certain models. 
  • You can see MSRP prices and current available incentives 
  • On some sites you can even calculate a estimated note
All that sounds awesome right!  You can do all of that without even talking to anyone! All at your own convenience, no matter where you are.  If you want to shop for cars in your PJs go right ahead.  

What are the steps for Internet Shopping, you ask?  It's super simple...
  1. Simply fill out the form with your contact info and the vehicle that you are looking at and someone will contact you by phone or email. 
  2. You can either call back or request to handle things online via email, remember you are the customer, we will cater to you.
  3. You can ask questions just as you would if you were here talking to a salesman, sometimes it takes a few minutes to respond, depending on what's going on here, if the assigned salesman or the manager is with a customer.  But, rest assured we'll get back to you.
  4. You can get a price quote on the selected model & trim level that you are looking at.
  5. You do have a couple of options now--you can either--
  6. Schedule a VIP test drive--you can schedule a test drive, and by doing so ahead of time we have time to get the vehicle ready for you.  We can check the fluid levels, make sure it's not on empty when you get here.  If there's little minor things that can be addressed before you arrive, we can take care of that.  All before you arrive, that way you're not waiting around on the vehicle.
  7. OR--if you've decided what you want before hand you can do all the negotiating online via email or over the phone with the salesman.  We can even do the financing before you arrive, once you agree to a price, we can do a credit app and submit it to the banks.  This saves you a lot of time, you're not sitting here waiting to hear from the banks.  Several of our clients choose this option because they can be at work or school while we are taking care of things on our end.  
  8. You have choices here too, you can either come by once the paperwork has been prepared, the car has been cleaned up and ready to go OR--
  9. We will also deliver the vehicle to you at your work, home or another designated meeting place.  This again saves you, the customer time, money and stress!  Now that's service!! 
So as you can see we try to make the internet buying process as simple as possible.  We cater to you, the customer.  In a world of ever changing possibilities we have to work hard to keep up.  About the only thing that you can't do is actually sit in a vehicle and feel how it drives, see and touch the actual features and see how the seats feel.
